Having Fun in Fundraising

Rhymes with Won

Incorporating some fun and games into your fundraising event takes it from obligatory attendance to a can’t-miss event. We like this word search table, apropos for a library fundraising event. Even if your fundraiser isn’t book related, word searches, crossword puzzles, and anagrams can be incorporated into table tops to subtly bring home your message and still feature fun.

Raise the Bar

Raise the bar at your fundraising event with a serve yourself food bar. These cookies are displayed in a vintage dresser drawer for a clever take to display what might be a simple item. Use a variety of cookies to add different textures and colors.

Out of the Red

The whole point of a fundraiser is to bring a charity well within operating budget and into the black. A subtle reminder in a tasty red drink should suffice.

Ingredients
2 ounces blended Scotch whisky
1 ounce sweet vermouth
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Garnish: lemon or orange twist
Directions
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir well for about 20 seconds, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Twist a piece of lemon or orange peel over the drink and use as garnish.

Thanks for the Memories
